lyrics

Trickle Down
There’s a war for you mind, there’s a war for your soul
Demons of greed with the most dishonorable goals
There’s a time to listen, there’s a time to talk
Right now we must stand up and take a walk
There can be no peace until there is justice
There can be no justice until we take a stand
Against the bad man they put up on your tv
They tell you he’s good, saying “wait for the money trickle down”
With starvations, it’s a great motivation,
Saying it’s the poor man’s fault while they’re laughing on their way
To the bank that holds your money hostage, makes their wallet swell
While the rest of us are living in hell
Let’s hope this time, the message is clear
No longer we cower down or tremble in fear
We got the truth, no longer we slumber
We got the data and facts, and we got the numbers
There can be no peace until there is justice
There can be no justice until we take a stand
Against the bad man they put up on your tv
They tell you he’s good, saying “wait for the money trickle down”
With starvations, it’s a great motivation
Saying “you should get a job” while they move it overseas
To Malaysia or somewhere in Asia, sell it back to you as a
Radio or color T.V.
